<p>This Privacy Policy explains how PocketPack processes information in its iOS and Android mobile applications. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.</p>

<h2>1. Information we process</h2>
<p>List names, location descriptions, item names, quantities, categories, notes, photos, drafts, and app preferences that you create in PocketPack are stored on your device by default. We do not send this content to our servers, and because PocketPack has no account system, we do not link it to you.</p>
<p>The app uses the following information only to perform an action you choose:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Camera:</strong> to take item or list photos and scan PocketPack QR labels.</li>
<li><strong>Photo library:</strong> to let you select a photo or save a generated QR label to your library. On Android, photo selection uses the system photo picker and PocketPack does not request broad access to your photo library.</li>
<li><strong>Backup files you select:</strong> when you choose to create, share, or restore a backup. Backups are not encrypted; the privacy practices of the service where you save or share them also apply.</li>

<p>These permissions are optional. If you do not grant a permission, the relevant camera, photo-selection, or photo-saving feature will not work, but you can continue using the other available features.</p>

<h2>2. Advertising and Google AdMob</h2>
<p>PocketPack may use Google AdMob to display in-app interstitial ads. Ads may be shown after you create your third and subsequent lists.</p>
<p>Google and its advertising partners may process device or online identifiers, IP address, information that may be used to infer approximate location, technical device information, and ad interaction information to deliver ads, protect ad security, limit ad frequency, measure performance, and—where you allow it—show personalized ads. PocketPack does not collect or send your precise location to Google.</p>

<p>For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, consent will be obtained when required for ad personalization and related data-processing purposes. If you do not provide consent, non-personalized ads may be shown where available. In the live-ad version of the app, you will be able to change or withdraw consent through the in-app <strong>Privacy and ad preferences</strong> section.</p>

<h2>3. How information is shared</h2>
<p>We do not sell, rent, or share your app content with advertising partners. Only technical and advertising-related data connected with ad delivery may be shared with Google AdMob and selected advertising technology partners through AdMob. The current list of those partners will be shown in the consent message presented to you.</p>
<p>If you choose to share a file such as a backup or QR label, you initiate that sharing with the app or service you select. PocketPack is not responsible for that third party's data practices.</p>

<h2>4. Retention and deletion</h2>
<p>Your app content remains on your device until you delete it, use the <strong>Delete all data</strong> option, or uninstall the app. Deleted content can be permanently removed from the trash. Backups and shared files you export from the app remain where you saved them and must be deleted separately.</p>
<p>Data processed by AdMob is subject to Google's own retention and deletion practices. Where available, you can manage ad-personalization preferences through your Google Account and device settings.</p>

<h2>5. Children's privacy</h2>
<p>PocketPack is not designed for children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has sent us personal information, please contact us at the address above. If a child-directed version is released, its advertising settings and notices will be configured in line with applicable law.</p>

<h2>6. Security</h2>
<p>App content is stored on your device. Your device passcode, operating-system security, and the protections of any service where you save backups are important to keeping that content secure. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.</p>
